Our partner with Innercity Youth
Established in 1987, Frontlines exists to offer services to the people and groups of the Weston community, one of Toronto’s 13 Priority Neighbourhoods. They have focused their efforts on high-risk children and youth from the beginning, and believe in a community approach to making Weston a safer and better place. Thanks to many individual donors and granting organizations, they are able to offer a variety of programs for the children and youth of Weston.
Through club initiatives, special events and drop-in times, the Frontlines staff of trained workers and volunteers provide a friendly environment
where people feel both cared for and safe. It is a place where children and youth are encouraged to choose constructive alternatives that will further growth and development. Beyond working with the physical, mental and social needs of youth, Frontlines also strives to address their spiritual needs.
Frontlines programs provide practical, tangible services that meet real needs and add value to groups within the community. Through programming, staff build impactful relationships with participants and their families. These relationships foster collaborative problem solving and create positive change.
